I just put the old girl in for a service at Startline and Roger looked at my M3 tyres (8k close to 9k on them) . The back are slicks in the centre cause my shed has new smooth concrete
 The front which I thought were fine came as a surprise to me . The centre was almost down to slicks and the right side had blisters all around the sides (like when you get hot water on yourself) the left side was good. On the last few rides my bike handled like sh@t but I had no idea why and I never even scraped my boots which is a first 4 me . This is my 3rd set of Metzlers and none of the others have had any problems. Anyhow the old girl is getting some sort of Dunlops on her with Roger & Scott's assurance that they will replace them free of charge if I'm not happy with the performance as I do not like Dunlops at all.

thats a pretty good guarantee Jeffy
 I got 10,000 out of my M3 rear & 14,000 out of the front on the R1 .. but i guess the 12 is heavier

I've got the Metzeler Sportec M3's on my GSX1400 and love em, not sure what mileage I will get from them but so long as it is reasonable I will be happy. They are so much better than the standard Bridgestones and make the bike feel much more nimble and lighter.
